Formed on 27th February 1956, the Bedford Steam Engine Preservation Society has grown over the years into one of the largest regional clubs in the country. This year we have celebrated our 50th Anniversary with a series of commemorative events, starting with our Birthday Party here at Old Warden back in March. This was followed by a very successful Steam Apprentice driving weekend in April, where over 100 children learnt how to safely drive and maintain steam engines. Our new event in June, a Village Day in nearby Blunham went down well, and all have been leading towards this weekend, our biggest ever event.
