Further information:
Sold new to Higgins & Pickering of Eastbridge Kent, with sister engine 14257 “Linkey”. In 1925 sold to Link Bros. of Newchurch, Kent and then in March 1961 to Pegden Bros. of Elham, Kent. By April 1963 the engines were with Lt. Commander Baldock who by 1981 sold them to D. Lacey of Liphook. Completely renovated by the present owner since purchase in 1999 when the engine attended the rally in its un-restored state. In 2003 the engine was reunited at this event with Linkey when they worked together for the first time in 56 years
