It later passed to Northern Taroads in Kendal, Cumbria with whom it spent the rest of its working life until purchased for preservation in 1963 by Jack Gilbert of Pinhoe, Exeter. Sold on in 1980 to Horrell brothers, the wagon was restored in its present form, with a tanker body. it was later sold on to Nick Baker before being purchased by its present owners in 2001. The wagon has since undergone extensive boiler work. |
