| Built of Henry Thurston Jnr of Rugby and is named after his wife. The engine travelled the Eastern Counties with a set of chair-o-planes, which was a new ride at that time. After two years the ride was sold and the engine then worked with Burrell 2879 "Lord Nelson" and Foster "Medina" to pull and light the famous White City Motor Scenic ride which Henry continued to travel after his father's death. He travelled the ride during the war years but sold it shortly after, along with the other two engines. "Margaret" remained with Henry and worked with a Noah's Ark ride until sold in 1944. Repatriated from Holland by N Baker of Dorset, where it had been in preservation for 20 years. Bought by present owner in 2004. |
