new to B Nichols of London before passing to C Presland of Tilbury. The engine was built with a lower canopy than usual to allow it to be put on a train due to the lower bridges around london; the canopy is actually the same width as a railway carriage. It passed into preservation in 1958 and spent many years as part of the steam fairground collection of Commander J M Baldock of Liphook in Hampshire. In 1989 the engine was invited by the Showman's Guild in their centenary year to attend St Giles Fair, Oxford, where it had been worked many times.
