| New to william Murphy of Newcastle-upon-Tyne to work with engine William VI on Murphy's scenic ride. In 1933 the engine was sold to Samuel Ingham of Hyde, and through a further two fair owners, Bason & Sons of Manchester and James Botton & Sons of Kent. In 1955 the engine passed into preservation with J Kingdom of Reading. John Crawley had always wanted a Burrell Scenic and purchased it in 1956. The engine appeared in the film "The Iron Maiden", painted battleship gray and appeared as the engine "Dreadnought". |
