| New to Cumberland County Council, this roller worked with Aveling-Barford roller works no. AG758 "Gisela". They were assembled by Vickers Armstrong with parts supplied by Alveling-Barford and Ruston Hornsby. Purchased together with "Gisela" in 1963 by John Crawley after he was approached by the sales manager of Aveling-Barford. They were delivered by rail to Bedford and as both were in working condition and had boiler certificates, they were steamed straight from Bedford goods yard to the 1963 Society rally at Bletsoe. |
