Supplied new to Mr Ashley of Tring, Herts. This engine spent its early days in Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire and was restored for preservation in 1957 by Albert Deans of Baldock. The engine then passed to Norfolk then down south. "Valiant" has never been derelict but had major repairs in the early 1990s.
