| New to Beyer Peacock Co. Ltd., of Gorton Foundry, Manchester and was fleet number 2 of 3 similar wagons on general works duties. Later it survived as a soil sterilising plant and was recovered from a nursery in Cheshire in 1989. Restoration by the present owner commenced with a boiler, front axle, perch bracket and front wheels. The project became a reality in 1997 when a complete engine was found on Vancouver Island whilst on holiday in Canada. |
