Barnes of Portland, Dorest and used for hauling stone from the quarries down to Portland Harbour. Named Kitchener the engine later went back to Fowler's works for a complete overhaul and was converted to full showman's specification. The engine worked on the fairgrounds with Mrs. H. Oadley of Derbyshire. Purchased in 1952 by B.S.E.P.S Founder and President John Crawley, the engine was to be seen at all early society events and makes a welcome return this weekend. The engine appeared as the star of the film The Iron Maiden and was appropriately renamed with its film name. The engine then passed to G. Hawkins of Tredinnick, Cornwall who travelled the engine far and wide throughout the country. The present owner has recently overhauled this engine.";
