Further information:
Built for H.M.Government to drive a mobile bailing press to bale hay and straw for the military horses in the First World War. Sold at a Bedford auction in 1920 to T. Davis of Elstow. In 1927 it passed to Wagstaff & Co. of Elstow for threshing duties until 1952. Totally rebuilt between 1982 - 1998.
