Further information:
The engine started its life in Oxfordshire in the ownership of the Oxford Steam Plough Co. where it worked until 1940. Bought at auction by the Pennock family of North Yorkshire and used for woodsawing. Rescued for restoration in 1960 by T. Meadowcroft who named the engine after a son.
