s.text = "<b>Aveling &amp; Porter<br>Road Roller<br>4 Tons, Built 1911, Works No. 7385, Reg. No. FC 4016.</b><br>This unusual roller was built to the order of Oxford City. It was used for light patching work on the roads and alleyways of the city, frequently hauling a tar boiler from site to site. In 1938 the roller was replaced by diesel and was sold to J. Allen of Cowley. It then moved to Taylor Bros of Essex. They used it for trench re-instatement and site work on the nearby airfields during the last war. Purchased by the present owners in 1971 and totally rebuilt.";

Completely rebuilt by present owners, this is one of 9 to have survived out of 40 of this type built. Named Arfur because it’s <em>'arf 'is and 'arf mine.</em>";

The car then remained in the Shuttleworth Collection for 50 years before being sold to G. Black in 1987. Overhauled during 2001/2 by the present owner including new brakes and a re-paint.";

s.text = "<b>Clayton &amp; Shuttleworth<br>SC Portable Engine <em>Old Hiram</em><br>12 NHP, Built 1926, Works No. 50004.</b><br>Built for export to Spain, the delivery was cancelled and the engine remained in this country, being sold in 1929. Saved for preservation from a scrap yard in the 1960’s and passed through several owners before sitting for 28 years in Dorset close to the sea and open to the elements suffering severely from corrosion and pilfering. Rescued in 1999 and hoped to back in steam next year, the engine is displayed in its derelict state.";

Lambert in 1937 for gravel transportation. Sold in 1953 to J. Hardwick scrap merchants before passing to Wingham engineering company who used the waggon in the aftermath of the Suez crisis. Permanently loaned to HMS Sultan in 1960 and totally restored before purchased in 1970. Operated and maintained by volunteers from HMS Sultan – the Royal Navy’s School of Marine Engineering, the waggon is self-financing and generates money through public appearances and sponsorship.";
