This was the first steam roller bought by the Luton Corporation and was used to repair the streets of Luton until the late 1950s. John Crawley tracked down the engine in a scrap yard after a friend had seen the chimney from a passing train. After a visit to the firm who owned the yard, the engine joined john's collection. It is the oldest surviving Tandem roller in the UK. It is owned by the Luton Museum Service.
