Further information:
New to W. Goddard as a steam tractor and used for removals. Returned to Burrells in 1927 and converted to a roller, in this form it was used until the late 1940’s. It was last steamed for the 1953 Coronation festivities in Saffron Walden. On loan to the Charles Burrell Museum of Thetford, the engine was totally overhauled and repainted during the winter of 1999-2000.
