Further information:
New to C. Tassell of Chatham and then sold to Scotts Sawmill in 1919. It moved to Kemp Bros. Of Rainham in 1927 and finished its working life in the mid 1950’s. Purchased in 1980 by the late S.W.Neville who rallied it extensively both home and abroad until 1993. In 1996 a new boiler, firebox and smokebox were fitted and in 1998 a complete repaint was undertaken to its original specification including gold leaf.
