| Further information: |
| This engine was purchased new by Thomas Mitchell & Co. of Guildford, Surrey in 1907. For a while it was owned by Foden's while they were developing their steam wagons and was used as a comparison between wagons and tractors. Later, Foden agents of Cosham sold it to Walls Brothers Amusements of Petersfield, Hants, who renamed it Little Samson. It has been completely rebuilt since it acquisition for preservation in 1962. It is the oldest Gold Medal Tractor to survive. |
