The Road Run began from The White Horse Public House, on the Green in Broom, Beds, and started a 12 mile run passing through the picturesque Bedfordshire villages of Broom and Southill.

There was a stop at The Hare & Hounds in Old Warden for lunchtime refreshment. After lunch and some "liquid sunshine" the exhibits continued on their journey, passing through Ickwell, Northill and Hatch before finally returning to the White Horse in Broom.
