Over winter 2007/8, Ben Thompson has done some work on his Field Marshall, which has included a repaint. The tractor was purchased many years ago by his Grandfather and rallied for the last few years by Ben.
Over the last couple of years he has been gradually replacing worn parts and when he was happy with the running of the tractor, he decided it was time for a repaint.
Ben did all the spraying at home, with help from Mark Worbey with the lining. The tractor carries its original colour scheme and it is believed the wheels were painted red for the tractor to be displayed on an agricultural show stand.
We’re sure you’ll all agree it really looks the part and as can be seen from the photos the tractor has been put to work again since, pulling or winching something out!
