The County Sheriff of Bedfordshire

The Bedford Steam Engine Preservation Society celebrates its 50th Anniversary this year, 2006, and as part of the celebrations held a fantastic Grand Prize Draw with a first prize of a 3” Scale Marshall Steam Traction Engine. The draw took place at noon on 17th September in the arena at the Society's Annual Steam & Country Fayre with the High Sheriff of Bedfordshire, Mr Richard Banks, drawing the winning tickets.

First prize of the 3” Scale Marshall – Won by Mr Edward Forrest from Bedfordshire presented on his behalf to Mrs Forrest in his absence

The first prize of the 3” Scale Marshall was won by Mr Edward Forrest from Bedfordshire and was presented in his absence to Mrs Forrest.

Second prize of a Traction Engine Driving Experience was won by Richie Flack from Cambridgeshire

Third prize of £100 worth of embroidered Bedford Steam Engine Club Clothing  was won by B. Sidwell from Norfolk

The Prize engine is paraded around the arena aboard Alan Young's 6” Scale Foden C Type Wagon
